Badging credentials in SIMnet

Digital badging credentials are available for all SIMnet applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. These online certificates of achievement are based on scores for specific SIMnet assignments.

Why is online badging important?

  • Students can add badges to their CV, LinkedIn and social media
  • Students can promote fluency of MS Office skills to prospect employers via LinkedIn
  • There is no additional cost for digital credentials, but students need a SIMnet license to earn these
  • Yellow and black belt badges are attained by scoring 90% or higher in assessments
  • White and purple belts require 100% completion of 'Let me Try' interactive tasks in corresponding chapters
