With Connect, students will have access to a more personalised experience and can spend their study time more efficiently. This means that for Instructors, when you use Connect for your classes, you have the opportunity to save time and effort on lesson planning. So, with this extra time that you save with using Connect, you can focus on teaching, creating engaging courses, and student outcomes. The advanced features within Connect also simplifies assignment management, allowing you to teach your way.

Cannot access an on-campus lab? Connect Virtual Labs is a fully online lab solution that can be used to replace, prepare, supplement, or make-up labs to bridge the gap between lab and lecture.

These lab simulations help students learn the practical and conceptual skills needed to understand the lab environment. In addition to this, students are able to check their understanding of the tasks and are provided with instant feedback. As instructors, you can fully personalise each assignment that your students are allocated thanks to adaptive pre-lab and post-lab assessment questions.

Accessible through our ReadAnywhere app, Practice Atlas for Anatomy & Physiology is a digital resource that turns the traditional anatomy atlas into an engaging and interactive student learning tool.

Via the app, you can layer images of common anatomical models with life-like human cadaver photography. This activity is key to help students perfect the art of naming structures on both models and human bodies.

Bringing to you a series of podcasts dedicated entirely to Anatomy & Physiology. Episodes include discipline specific best practices, teaching tips, idea sharing, educational solutions, and other exciting special topics in A&P

Interactive presentations have been created to bring the textbook content to life! They are designed to guide students through each chapter’s key concepts and learning objects.

Looking for assessments help? Tegrity is a video capture and remote proctoring solution available within Connect. It drives student engagement in a traditional, flipped, hybrid, or fully online course.

SmartBook is an adaptive learning tool integrated within Connect that created a personalised learning path based on a student's single strengths and weaknesses. It identifies gaps in knowledge and focuses on areas needing reinforcement, helping students to study smarter, instead of harder.

SmartBook's insightful report features highlight student progress or topic areas that need more work, assisting instructors in shaping their teaching strategies

Taking advantage of the auto-graded, assignable material within Connect has been made so much more beneficial with the help of the analytics provided with Connect reports.

The reports which link easily with your LMS offer you data which you can customise, to easily view the information that is the most relevant to you. You can easily assess student performance, learning outcomes, at-risk students, and much more!

As a learning science company, we make it a mission to create content that develops higher-order thinking skills. Within McGraw-Hill Connect®, we have this in mind when we build your course materials.

We make this process simple for you so you can filter your search, assign course material, and receive reporting on attempts. The types of materials that you allocate can be associated with one or more levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy.

The Real Deal! Our Cadaver Simulation Tool

Anatomy & Physiology Revealed 4.0 (APR) is an interactive human cadaver tool. With APR, in addition to the human cadaver, students will also have access to a fetal pig, or cat dissection tool to enhance lectures and labs. We have increased the access to APR, meaning that students can use it anytime, anywhere.

Instructors can customise APR by choosing the specific content required in their course through a simple menu selection process. In the course-specific area of the programs, students see only the instructor’s designated content, and only this content will appear in quiz questions.

APR contains all the systems covered in A&P and Human Anatomy courses, including:

  • Body Orientation
  • Cells and Chemistry
  • Tissues

What is new in APR 4.0?

  • We have Improved Accessibility
  • Updated User-Friendly Interface
  • More Mobile-Friendly
  • New! 3D Interactive Models
